SHOW DAY SESSIONS
Available On Site at select Horse Shows
Show Day Sessions are a streamlined version of my All Inclusive Portrait Experience and are available at most horse shows throughout the summer. This is the perfect opportunity for clients to reserve their own dedicated, one-on-one session time, where we can make the most of all the best locations & light on property while capturing the moments we might not otherwise be able to!
Generally, these sessions run about 30 minutes and clients can choose from our two signature styles of portraiture: Lifestyle or Fine Art. Any session can feature both you and your horse, or just your horse(s). You are also welcome to include your family, friends, and awards from the weekend!
These sessions are best for:
- Conformation photos for use in advertising sale horses or stallions
- Fine Art Portraits while your horse is already perfectly groomed & braided
- Celebrating a milestone or accomplishment with your heart horse!
Show Day Sessions have a $99 session fee, which covers your reserved session time. Images from your session are uploaded to the main show gallery to be purchased a la carte along with your show images. Most people then choose to combine their show & session images when choosing a digital image package from the weekend, and add on a few pieces of wall art or other keepsakes from their extra time!
Lifestyle
Enjoy the natural scenery & atmosphere of the show grounds; the perfect way to keep things simple for a sales horse or include you, your family, and awards from the weekend. You can expect to receive an additional 10-20 images in your show gallery.
Fine Art
Show off your horse's prefect weekend turnout on a solid, studio style, backdrop with dramatic lighting. These portraits create timeless artwork for the home, or eye-catching advertising for sale horses and stallions. You can expect to receive an additional 3-5 images in your show gallery.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the total investment?
The session fee of $99 covers your private, reserved session time, and then images are purchased a la carte. Most people choose to purchase a digital image package from the weekend which would include any combination of your show + session images. Custom artwork is also available for purchase via the online gallery.
How many images can I expect?
Fine Art sessions will include 3+ poses to choose from, and Lifestyle sessions include 10+. These images will be found in your main show gallery, where you can purchase digital files, artwork, or other keepsakes just as with the rest of your riding photos from the weekend.
What should I wear?
Some people choose to stay in their show outfit (you can never have enough photos of you new custom boots, right?), while others prefer to change into something else more relaxed, like a sun dress. This is totally up to you!
Your horse can wear any of their tack, ribbons, or nothing at all! Most people choose either a snaffle bridle or leather halter.
How long are these sessions?
We will spend about 30 minutes together, depending on our goals for the session! Often, these sessions are in the early morning or early evening so we have to best light to work with.
